Volunteers and Background Checks and Virtus
The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston requires that all
volunteers have a background check & attend a VIRTUS
training session. No one is allowed to be a volunteer working with, transporting or being involved in any way with children at the school or church unless he/she has had a background check and attended a VIRTUS training session.

Background check forms must be completed before you attend a Virtus Training. The forms are available
at the parish office.

To register for a Virtus training session go on-line to www.virtus.org and click on the word registration on the left hand side. You will need to choose
Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
