Jesus is present in our midst wherever two or three are gathered in his name.
Sisters and brothers in Christ, the Holy Spirit gathers us together today so that we might open our ears to hear the voice of God. We sing joyfully to the Lord, who is the rock of our salvation. We are summoned to love our neighbor. In the celebration of the Mass we are nourished by word and sacrament so that we may be strengthened to respond to that commandment to love one another. The Lord Jesus is the source of that love. Let us raise a song of joy to his great name.

I had a friend who is a Catholic, but doesn't usually go to mass.
They say it is no big thing, even the preachers on TV
say they don't have to go to
church to be a good Christian.
What do I say?
